Welcome to the Women Who Win Empower Podcast! My guest today is Vicky Schettini, Real Estate Investor and founder of WIT Property Finders.
WWWE 023: In this episode, featured guest Vicky shares how her company helps clients create wealth with rental property, and minimum start-up cost. She tells how she moved across the country and was homeless at one point. Determined to do WIT - “Whatever It Takes” to build her own legacy, she bought her first property with only $500. Within four years, she now owns 58 Single Family Homes and 4 apartment complexes. And, while taping this show, she closed on 10 additional single family properties.
More About Today's Guest
Vicky says her desire is to inspire those who have already given up, letting women know that nothing is impossible if you do WIT- Whatever It Takes.
I used to be a struggling single mother, driving 3-hrs to work a job that could barely spare $25 a month. In 2014, I left everything behind in California and moved to Jackson, MS. The real estate agent I spoke with prior to driving across the country disappeared into thin air, I ended up alone and homeless in a new city. I had to sell the things I brought with me on eBay. With just $500 left and help from new friends, I was able to get my first investment property. In less than 4 years I now own 58 single family rental homes that provide passive income.
Within the same span of time, I was able to flip a number of single family properties and multi family homes, some I still own, most were sold within 10-30days. From doing things on my own, I now have a team that helps me get everything done, from acquiring properties, flipping, and putting properties back in the market.
Vicky Schettini resides in the state of Mississippi.
