I’ve been thinking about the habits and mindset a lot over the last couple of years. Recently, it’s been weighing heavily on my mind because of my work as a women’s empowerment speaker, trainer, and coach. I read books, social media posts, articles, scour the internet, listen, observe, and ask questions on the subject when talking with experienced and aspiring entrepreneurs. As I write this blog, I'm happy to share a list of qualities that are common in several online articles. I've selected 14 characteristics that describe the mindset of a successful entrepreneur. Use the list below to discover if you have the behaviors to design your ideal future in the world of entrepreneurship.

Here are 14 common characteristics. How many of them describe you?

1. You have a powerful “Why.”
2. You have an action plan and execute the plan.
3. You have the habit of being persistent until you get the results you seek.
4. You’re resourceful.
5. You do more than is required. (This separates you from the pack
6. You obsess over cash flow. (Lack cash? You’ll find a way.)
7. You don’t ask for permission. (never satisfied with status quo)
8. You’re fearless. (a risk taker)
9. You welcome change. (listen to your market)
10. You love a challenge. (adversity doesn’t stop progress…it fuels you)
11. You’re resilient.
12. You listen.
13. You keep the main thing the main thing (focus on what matters).
14. You focus on your strengths and delegate weaknesses. (Surround self with people who can strengthen you)

In summary, this is a person who knows what they want, why they want it, and will go get it. Period.
