Happy Holidays!

Christmas day is almost here! Nothing can be more pleasant to think about this time of year than the thought of the cheerful and warm feeling of the season. I can already smell the aroma of it in the air: fresh baked cookies, candy, and apple pie. I can smell the turkey and all the fixings. There’s the smell of pine needles from the tree. And I can even feel the laughter in the air. It all complements each other so well. Although I can’t imagine what it would be like not to celebrate this time of year, I know there are many people in the world who do not celebrate the birth of Christ. But even so, my prayer is for every child to have joy, food, and a chance to smile this holiday season.
