More About Tomeico Faison:

Tomeico was bitten by the entrepreneurship bug in middle school when she felt the need to try to earn money to help support the family. She tells of creating a flyer to offer babysitting services. Recognizing her natural gift in academics, she included tutoring in math as an added incentive. After receiving cash from her first client, she tells how her babysitting idea suddenly became a family affair. In 2003, two years after graduating college with an occupational therapist degree, Tomeico opened Therapeutic Solutions. She grew the company’s referral base of Drs in low-vision services from 1 to more than 80 from 2013 to 2018; the company also expanded from serving 1 county to serving 7 counties in NC (from Wake to serving Wake, Durham, Guilford, Forsyth, Chatham, Orange and parts of Johnston County). Her hope is for more therapists and health care providers to start businesses that focus on serving and meeting unmet needs.

Tomeico also shares how she and her husband acquired a million dollars worth of real estate without ever paying a down payment (just closing cost). Tomeico is a full-time entrepreneur and resides in North Carolina.
